FREEZING YOUR EGGS: WHAT’S NEXT?

So you’ve gathered information, researched extensively and listened to the OVA experts as they explained all you need to know about the egg freezing process. You’re ready to move forward- so how do you begin?

We suggest all patients begin with our OVAview testing. This pre-screening consists of an ultrasound and blood work, followed by a doctor consult. The results will give your physician an idea of your fertility health and ovarian reserve, which will help with prescribing your medication regimen and how you’ll likely respond to treatment. This information will also help you decide if you would like to proceed with egg freezing.

What gets tested?

E2 Estradiol: Hormone that determines your ovaries’ ability to produce eggs
FSH Follicular Stimulating Hormone: Hormone secreted by the brain that reflects the remaining number of eggs left in your ovaries
LH Luteinizing Hormone: Hormone secreted by the pituitary gland that if elevated, could be an indicator of decreased ovarian reserve.
AMH Anti-Mullerian Hormone: Hormone secreted by the ovarian follicles. Decreased levels are an indicator of decreased ovarian reserve
AFC Antral Follicle Count: Small cysts on the ovary that could potentially house an egg for this month

How much does OVAview Ovarian Testing Cost?

OVAview includes ultrasound and bloodwork to determine E2, FSH, LH, AMH and AFC. We would like to offer attendees a special pricing of $300.
